My cubicle is located at the second floor of the building. Therefore, I go work or back from work, i need to climb the staircase and this door has a card scanner.
It is very weird, during office hour from 8am-5pm, the door is open to anybody who wish to enter. Before 8am or after 5.30pm, it will auto lock and only certain people are allowed to enter. (I have access to it =D )
How to you know that you no longer have access to the door and requires card scanning? Simple, the card scanner will indicate red light and that's where you need to allow your ID badge to mate with the scanner a while.
After the mating is done.. it will turn green.
And you may now open the door and do whatever you want.
Now... For the first TWO weeks I worked there, the door lock somehow malfunction. When it is in red light, all i need is a little more force to pull the door and it is open. Of course with the alarm rings, but who cares.
Now, here is the stupid thing i did...
On the third week, the door was repaired. AND I KNEW IT WAS REPAIRED!!!
I OT till 9pm, I packed my stuff, carry my shoe with my right hand and water container with my left hand. I happily walk down the stairs towards to that door. Seeing my hand are all fulled and not able to carry up my ID card, I increase my speed when going down and when I am near the door, I use my whole weight and momentum to bang the door.
All you can hear is *Pong the door sound followed up with Arrrrrr.... from my mouth.
I bang this thick door with my shoulder. Needs to go back and apply oil cos lebam terus.
