Self Satisfaction =D

I can't believe that I've not been blogging about planes for about a month. *myself shock*

Shall talk about it today. Recently the United States Air Force acrobatic team (ThunderBird) arrive Malaysia to do some demonstration. The team uses F-16 Fighting Falcon as their plane to demonstrate.

F-16 Fighting Falcon

The name Thunderbird, a mythical creature common to indigenous cultures of North America, believed to attack humans by sending out evil spirits and legends to wreak havoc on the country side. It is also known as the "spirit lord," a name that came from its apparent use of evil spirits and happenings to cause its wishes to become reality.

Look at some of their stunts...

No ordinary pilots can do this

Next is going to be the Blue Angles.

Its another United States acrobatic but this team is from the US Navy. They uses the F-18 Superr Hornet (canggih plane)

Lastly is my favorite team. The RED ARROWS

They are the best team in the world when comes to maneuvering skills. BTW this team comes form Royal Air Force (England). They have nine pilots in this team but with a few backup pilots. Only the cream of the crop from the air force are selected to join the arrows.

The plane that us used by them is the BAE Hawk T1A. Its a light and small aircraft that is very suitable for stunt movements. Anyway this aircraft is used to train up new pilots joining the air force.

Hawk

Hope to see them in LIMA end of this year. HOPE la.

Great. Aerobatic teams in the world. Really respect. They are the real skilful pilots we want to look up to.

You know, I have many maintenance people here who always criticise pilots. Never mind that. Cos really, some airline pilots have shit attitudes. They ruin our reputations as competent and trained "sky-bus-drivers". So maintenance people and pilots have always been in tight relationship. Of course not to everyone.

hehe. But come on, take a look at the military jet fighter pilots. Not everyone can climb their way up to that level.

I have a second thought of joining our Malaysian Royal Air Force anyway. Just recently..hangat tahi ayam. Good training. And great military experience. But the pilot requirement is definitely a tough and strict one.

Respect.

many reasons. maintenance people think they fly only..know nothing about the plane. and flying is now so much easier all by computer and electronics. and some very hidung tinggi ma..like so glamorous..everybody praise n respect.

and maintenance ppl, like very underrated.

Actually, engineers wear the uniform like pilots. kheng oso leh. mmmmm
